With fishing on the minds of many residents, now seems like the perfect time to show off this award-winning photo!
In a post on Twitter, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission announced that a Sunbury resident was the big winner of the 2021 photo contest.
Ethan Oakes won the grand prize in the 2021 PFBC Photography Contest with this submission: Fly Fishing on Penns Creek, Snyder County, for Brown Trout in Early Fall.

According to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC), their photography contest aims to develop an appreciation for Pennsylvania fishing, boating, and aquatic resources. The competition for 2022 runs until December 31, 2022.

Photographers can submit photos that include anglers, boaters, reptiles, amphibians, and waterway scenery. Photos may not be altered or digitally enhanced in any way.
The CBFP is using the winning entries in a feature article in a future issue of Pennsylvania Angler & Boater and on the Commission’s website and Facebook page.
