MAKE & TAKE K2: DRAGON PUPPET February 1, 3:45 – 4:30 p.m., Buena Vista Public Library. Make & Take K2 is a variation of our older Take & Make kits. This walk-in activity space is designed to stimulate children’s creative minds. If the children cannot attend the session, the kits can be picked up (while supplies last) and brought home to be completed.
BLM SURVEY The Bureau of Land Management is gathering feedback on the new management of camping and travel in Chaffee County – specifically in the Shavano, Burmac/Methodist Mountain, Fourmile North, Hecla, Pass Creek and Ark River Corridor areas north of BV. Animal Crackers: A Salida Circus and BVPL Adventure Wednesday to May 18, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. This exciting program helps children develop their gross motor skills, fine motor skills and emotional social skills. Age 2 – 5 years old.
KILT: children learn things From Wednesday to April 27, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., children will have the opportunity to be curious, to explore, to wonder and to be amazed by learning. From 5 to 9 years old, brothers and sisters welcome.
Squirms and giggles Thursdays until May 26, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Free, unstructured play and socialization for toddlers and caregivers. Age 0 – 5 years old.
Children’s music From Thursday to March 31, at 1 p.m. Lynette Clemons of Ruby Lucille’s Music Box will use instruments and songs to engage and support growing children. Age 4 to 6 years old.
Alphabet story time From Friday (except the 1st Friday of the month) until June 3. Story time brings together books, rhymes and games to develop active reading skills. From 2 to 5 years old, brothers and sisters welcome.
